great hotel, check-in was terrible

We are sorry, however, that the check-in did not live up to your expectations. We have done our utmost to make your rooms available at 12pm instead of 4pm and we are sorry that your room took a little longer due to the occupancy of our property. The hotel is in a good location. It is a serviceable hotel. I stay at this Sofitel several times a year. While I would intend to do so in the future, some points could be addressed. For example, the cleanliness of exterior windows made looking out of them a bit difficult, particularly if you pay extra for a river view. One of the windows has been broken (no latch). One of the two treadmills in the gym has been broken for some time. Coffee at breakfast was stale. Les 3 domes is fine, but for the same price one could eat at Epona with better quality.

My stay at Sofitel Bellecour was satisfying, the hotel is well located, my room had a great view, and the staff was super friendly. My comment was that the room was a bit old and "usée", although very clean and neat.
