We stayed for a weekend for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The staff were all amazing and the hotel is beautiful. It's nicely located across from a large shopping center and the Canadian Senate building. Afternoon tea at Zoe's was the highlight with an exceptional server named Dave. All around a great stay.

Disappointing - did not live up to my expectations based on many previous stays

We had a great weekend at the Ontario doctors hockey tournament. Christian at the desk arranged two adjacent rooms which were lovely . And also an early checkin The maid service was just finishing the second room and showed us around and helped to arrange the second check in. Friendly and helpful Dinner at Zoe’s on two nights with a nice ambiance and just a little too loud The lobby is a wonderful space! When I think of how the lobby in the Royal York has been ruined ,give me this sort of elegance any day. Breakfast at Wilfred’s every morning was a treat. Great receptionists and great wait staff And kudos to concierge Samuel Jean who arranged our dinner at Zoe’s on Thursday and a great recommendation for Harmon’s steak house on Saturday. We were meeting old friends and had an excellent meal with excellent service in an atmosphere filled with conversation and laughter instead of the usual overbearing “music “ that is so ubiquitous today.

Stayed for one night as part of a conference. Room was okay, but for the price seemed not worth it. Certainly the building itself is historic and has many amenities. The room was rather cramped, and a little run down seeming (e.g. bed frame broken, desk was dusty, bathroom mat stained). However, staff were professional and pleasant, and check-in and out was a breeze.

Very good service at check in. Front desk person was very friendly. When he found out we were celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday he upgraded our room which was unexpected and very nice. Our brunch at Wilfred’s was very good and one evening we sat in lobby lounge and had drinks and dessert which service was very good too.
